Assortment of herbs hanging

Welcome to Witchy Whims just one stop to make on your spiritual journey. You didn’t land on this page because I manifested it or because I cast some spell over your laptop or phone. You landed on this page because it was meant for you. Perhaps you have questions about your religious practices or about modern-day witchcraft. Maybe you know what you want but are looking for guidance or need some clarity. Maybe you just want to feel less alone in the solitude that spiritual growth brings you. If you want to connect with more individuals like yourself, I have Discord with a few witches that would be happy to chat with you. https://discord.gg/PVrrJVbDtA. The chat is novice practitioner friendly, and we have resources and guides for you to look at.

Disclaimer: I want to begin by saying nothing I post here should be a replacement for your research journey into your spiritual path, but rather another source of possible information. I do not claim to be perfect and all-knowing and I make mistakes. No matter how many years someone has read about or practiced their craft, they are still in need of new information. So please do not be afraid to present alternative ideas from your practice.

Who Is This Blog For?

The page is called Witchy Whims, but it is overall, a very spiritual page meant to be for anyone open to spiritual learning. If you are very set in your beliefs and unwilling to learn about others’ then this page is not for you, and I kindly ask you to see yourself out. I am not looking for “the right way” to believe something. Beliefs are fluid and at the end of the day, we could all be wrong or all be right. We don’t know. We can only believe in where our faith leads us. We are novice practitioner-friendly, baneful practitioner-friendly, Abrahamic practitioner-friendly, atheist practitioner-friendly, pagan practitioner friendly, etc.

Rules

We are open to everyone’s beliefs. I am an Omnist, myself.  there are actions we do not tolerate in practice. 1) Partaking in closed practices that are not part of your culture. 2) Using your craft to cause unjustified harm. (As previously stated, baneful practitioners are welcome. I am referring solely to those who harm the innocent.) 3) Disrespect for another’s craft or deities.

Witchy Whims is LGBTQ+ run and stands firmly with Stop Asian Hate, Black Lives Matter, Indigenous People’s Rights, and Women’s Rights. We do not believe anyone is superior to anyone else. We believe in everyone’s right to love who they want, live safely in their homes, and bodily autonomy. I don’t believe these statements are political. Politics spends way too much time butting into personal lives when it is supposed to be about the government.
